I am an experienced writer, editor and author based in Ballarat, Victoria.

My recent writing and editing clients include William Buck, Department of Education and Training, and Barry Plant real estate.

Words have always been my great love. At school I prided myself on being a dynamite speller and reader, and learning countless bush poems by heart. At home, I was forever gifting hand-written notes.

It was a natural choice for me to study a Bachelor of Business Degree, Majoring in Communications at QUT. And this led to a wealth of writing and editing experience working in PR and Corporate Communications roles. Although I really found my passion working as a Senior Policy Advisor in Aboriginal Affairs for the Victorian State Government.

But what I didn’t expect is that my love for words would lead me to the place I am now—an aspiring author. Last year, my microlit story, Ice Cube, was a finalist in the 2018 NWF/joanne burns MicroLit Award. My story has since been published in the Spineless Wonders’ Shuffle anthology.

I’m currently studying Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT. In my spare time I’m writing a middle-grade novel and drafting lots of picture books. So, watch this space!
